Apple’s iPhone 17 series, Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3, Watch SE 3, and the new AirPods Pro 3 are now open for pre-orders. Apple isn’t offering any launch deals on its products, but discounts are available on select smartphones from Nothing and Honor.
The Honor 400 is available at a £20 discount on the 8 GB/256 GB variant. It comes with a 6.55-inch with 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and packs a 5,300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
It gets a 200 MP primary rear camera and a 50 MP selfie sensor. It also offers an IP65 rating.
Nothing is also giving something of a discount on its Phone (3). The handset no longer features the Glyph LED interface, but it gets a new Glyph Matrix display at the back of the phone. The transparent rear panel is still present, but it now offers a triple 50 MP camera setup.
The phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, has a 6.67-inch OLED 120Hz display, and a 5,150 mAh silicon carbon battery with 65W wire and 15W wireless charging.
Nothing hasn’t discounted the Phone (3a), but you can get a Nothing Ear (a) for free (usually sells for £69) . The Phone (3a) has the older Glyph LEDs, but only 3 of them. It offers a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 50W wired charging.
The handset features a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary and telephoto unit. It sports a 32 MP selfie camera and is slated to get three years of Android OS updates.
If you want a budget Android phone, the Xiaomi Redmi 15C 4G variant could be something to check out. It comes with a 6.9-inch 120hz display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra SoC. The phone packs a large 6,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, and gets a 50 MP dual rear camera setup.
Apple’s Watch Ultra 3 is available for pre-order and ships on September 19. It offers a better and brighter display, improved connectivity with 5G, and satellite messaging. It runs watchOS 26 and is powered by the Apple S10 SoC. The watch is also slated to offer up to 42 hours of battery life.
If the upgrades on the Watch Ultra 3 aren’t enough for you, there’s always the Watch Ultra 2, which is now slightly cheaper.
The Watch Series 11 is also up for pre-order, and is available in 42 or 46mm case sizes. It’s slimmer than the older model, but is claimed to offer up to 24 hours of usage from a single charge. It is also more durable than before and brings a couple of new features such as continuous heart-rate and SpO2 tracking.
Once again, you could go for the Watch Series 10 variant, which is available with a discount.
Apple also unveiled the Watch SE 3, which gets the new S10 chip, faster charging, AOD, and 64GB of internal storage.
You could also go for the Watch SE 2, which is cheaper, but it is probably wiser to spend a little extra on the SE 3 instead. Both SE models are available in GPS or GPS+Cellular.
Apple also unveiled the AirPods Pro 3 at the recent iPhone 17 launch event. The latest TWS earphones from Apple come with a heart rate monitor, improved ANC, and longer battery life.
