72 Carlyle Is a New Miami Beach Development With 134 Condos

In the past five years, Miami Beach’s North Beach district hasn’t seen a lot of new condo developments. The New York–based firm Lefferts is changing that, though, with several new luxury residential projects in the low-key neighborhood. The latest, a 20-story tower dubbed 72 Carlyle, is launching sales today.

Rising 250 feet above Miami Beach, the curvilinear new tower encompasses 134 condos with interiors created by renowned Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni, who has put his stamp on several high-end brands, including Boffi and Porro. With prices ranging from $1.8 million to $10 million, the residences include floor plans from one to three bedrooms, all of them offered fully furnished. Fredrik Eklund of the Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is exclusively leading the sales.

“This masterpiece of a property designed by the iconic Piero Lissoni is fresh, sophisticated, and expertly crafted down to the finest detail,” Eklund said in a statement. “It embodies the next chapter of luxury for Miami, and I’m confident its new standard for luxury will resonate well with buyers seeking out the hottest new addresses.”

Every condo sports 10-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that spill onto balconies that look out over the nearby Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. Kitchens come equipped with high-end Gaggenau appliances, custom Italian cabinetry, and under-counter wine storage. A similarly elegant aesthetic is carried over into the bathrooms, with the primaries featuring massive picture windows, standalone soaking tubs, and glass-enclosed rainforest showers. And, given that this is the Sunshine State, each residence comes with a large terrace for enjoying the usually warm weather; some units even come with a summer kitchen and a private pool.

Amenities range from a gym with a yoga terrace to a playroom and lawn just for kids.

One of the benefits of buying into a luxury development, rather than a single-family home, is the amenities, and 72 Carlyle isn’t skimping on that front. Its Carlyle Club includes a host of benefits that could easily keep you on-property for days. For health and wellness enthusiasts, there’s a fitness center outfitted with Technogym equipment, an indoor-outdoor yoga studio, a padel court, and a spa with private treatment rooms. Adults can relax in the aperitivo lounge, with a chef’s table and wine cellar, while kids have a dedicated playroom and a plush outdoor lawn. And, if the whole family wants to hang out together, the pool is a great spot for splashing around or chilling out in a cabana.
