Xiaomi will launch the new T-series a week from now – this series is adjacent to the flagship number series but focuses more on value-for-money than absolute performance. We’ve had a few leaks so far, now here is the best sneak-peek yet. The Xiaomi 15T was photographed with the protective sleeve that goes inside the box – printed on it are many key specs.
The 15T will be powered by the Dimensity 8400-Ultra, the same chipset that’s inside the Poco X7 Pro. However, this one will have a larger 6.83” 120Hz display, compared to 6.67” on the Poco. That’s also bigger than the 14T display, which was 6.67”.

The phone will run on a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a 500mAh improvement over last year’s T-phone, but it’s a smaller battery than the Poco.
There are no details on the cameras, but the Leica Summilux lenses are making a comeback. For reference, the 14T from last year had a 50MP main (1/1.56”, OIS), 50MP 2x/50mm telephoto and a 12MP ultra-wide, plus a 32MP selfie camera.
There will be a Xiaomi 15T Pro model too and based on what we’ve seen in the Geekbench database, it should use the high-end Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This chip was used in the Redmi K80 Ultra.
Again, the Xiaomi 15T series will be unveiled next week on September 24. In the meantime, you may want to keep an eye on Xiaomi’s X account as the teaser campaign is starting up.
