At Tanner Fletcher’s spring 2026 show this afternoon, a skirted sofa took center stage before models in overalls and lace-trimmed polos traipsed down the runway. Among all the dramatic bows and ruffles, several pieces of matching decor appeared as well: Ruffled gingham lampshades, hand-painted candles in vintage pewter settings, and embroidered coasters shaped like vintage serving trays populated the set.
When the duo behind Tanner Fletcher—creative and romantic partners Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell—developed their first collection of clothing in spring/summer 2022, interiors were part of their DNA even then, inspiring the vintage-style fabrics and cottagecore-like ruffles that adorn their garments worn by celebrities like Kacey Musgraves, Bad Bunny, Alan Cumming, and Troye Sivan. “We’re always looking towards ’30s and ’40s interiors in order to inform the clothes—the ruffles on the cuffs were inspired by kitchen cabinets we saw, when they used to attach lace trim to the shelves, and curtains over the sink,” says Kasell.
Their first foray into decor was designing pillows, tote bags, and small accessories for local Brooklyn boutiques back in 2020, so their eventual segue into fashion felt like a natural extension of their original vision. It also helps that Richie has an interiors background, one which influences everything the couple puts out. “We’ve always seen fashion and interiors as one, because both are an expression of yourself,” says Kasell. “I always find it strange when somebody’s interiors don’t match what they wear whatsoever.”
Richie adds that the pair think of designing a collection the same way they would approach decorating a house: “Basically, we’re building our Victorian mansion one room at a time. And the rooms, like seasonal collections, should flow altogether.”
In their new “Re-Decorating” collection for spring/summer 2026, they solidified their interiors bent with an Etsy collaboration: a 15-piece homeware collection curated by Etsy sellers and hand-selected by Tanner Fletcher itself. The products embody their romantic style to a tee, from lace-painted vases, floral-painted taper candles, and cocktail napkins in the shape of silver serving trays and embroidered with the slogan Home Sweet Home.
“I don’t think that Etsy came to us with any idea that we didn’t like,” says Richie, “They so got us, and it felt easy collaborating because we understood they just got it.”
Dayna Isom Johnson, Etsy’s trend expert and a fellow vintage enthusiast, said of the project, “Tanner and Fletcher understand the joy in not only sourcing, but creating one-of-a-kind pieces, which made this partnership both incredibly authentic and really fun.”
Richie and Kasell both confirm that Etsy serves as an important source of inspiration for their vintage designs, in both clothing and homewares, so sourcing from their “favorites” was second-nature. “We have literally thousands of Etsy favorites: vintage clothing, vintage fabric,” says Kasell. “We’re a small business and it’s nice to support other small businesses—to include them in the show and have products with them.”
Both the ready-to-wear and the home goods reflect the brand’s signature Victorian style. The pair name the English countryside, Vanderbilt gowns, Technicolor movies, and New York department stores as major inspiration for the collection.
Alongside the curated vintage available on their website, Tanner Fletcher is also curating vintage pieces through its own Etsy shop (“We end up keeping 75% of the vintage we buy. It’s so hard. We get so emotionally attached to every single piece,” explains Richie). The collaboration is available to shop today right here.
